Bio

Michael was born and raised in the New England town of Portland, Maine. He has over 10 years combined experience in radio, print, television, and internet advertising. Michael has an extensive working knowledge of the drug and alcohol treatment industry, and has most recently worked in development, marketing and admissions at a nationally known long-term drug and alcohol rehab. Previously, Michael worked as a residential counselor for one of the largest dual diagnosis agencies in the country, where he provided one-on-one counseling and group counseling as well as case management. Michael was crucial in implementing key elements of the drug and alcohol rehabilitation program to this mental health agency. Michael also served on the board of directors of a non-profit drug and alcohol placement program. One of Michael’s career highlights was assisting Candy Finnigan in a live intervention on A&E’s hit TV show, INTERVENTION. All of these experiences, along with his personal journey, inspired Michael to form Consulting Addictions. Michael currently lives in Dallas, Texas with his wife Heidi and their dogs, Wilson, Jupiter,  Punkin, and Brutus.
